About us

SOLAREVIĆ foundry and machine shop is based in Vršac, on Beogradski put. Production and machining services share one roof — so we can take a part from sample to finished size.

01 — What we do

Production
and services.

Production is based on static casting and centrifugal casting of grey cast iron, aluminium and bronze. Alongside our own product range, we make parts to a customer's sample or pattern, to their requirements.

Our service work is machining — of petrol and diesel engines, plus turning and milling on parts customers bring in.

The company grows by following and adopting modern technology, widening its range and raising the quality of its products and services. A customer-first approach and a stable position in the home market and neighbouring countries are among its core values.

in one place.

The housing was cast, then cut open to show how the gear train sits — shafts, bearings and gearing in a single piece.

A part like this goes the whole way through the workshop: pattern and mould, pouring, fettling, then turning, milling and honing to the drawing dimensions. So the part never has to travel to three addresses — the mould and the final dimension are under one roof.

03 — Markets

Home,

and export.

Through the quality of its products and the way it treats customers, the company has built a reputation in Serbia, across the former Yugoslavia, and in Austria, Germany and Italy.

04 — FAQ

What people
ask most.

If the answer isn't here, the assistant in the bottom-left corner covers another twenty or so topics — or simply give us a call.

Yes — and it's the most common case we see. We measure the part and make a pattern from it. We also work from broken pieces: on symmetrical parts, the undamaged side supplies the missing geometry.

One piece. For one-offs, most of the cost is the pattern, so a second casting from the same pattern is much cheaper. We keep the pattern for future orders.

Yes. We offer turning, milling, drilling, grinding and honing as a stand-alone service, as well as machining of petrol and diesel engines.

Because the rotation drives slag and gas towards the bore, which is then machined away. The load-bearing section stays free of porosity, and the structure is denser and more uniform than in a static casting.

It depends on whether a pattern already exists and whether the part needs machining. You get the lead time with the quote, before work starts — we don't make it up as we go.

Yes — regularly to Austria, Germany and Italy, and across the region. The shipping method is agreed along with the quote.
